So, two years ago, we did this awesome little wedding on a beautiful little island off the coast of Portland, Maine. As is the case with every wedding, we learned something new. At this wedding, we learned the intricate operational techniques of a water taxi….to the extent that we may open up our own water taxi service during the high season! On a more serious note, we were fortunate that Coastal Living thought it was as cool as we did and thanks to Liz Banfield, photographer extraordinaire, we were able to see it in print….and buy in print. Picking up our first copy was pure excitement and we couldn’t help ourselves when we saw it on the stands recently. Of course, we couldn’t help but pick up “just one more copy” when we saw it last month. Hope you enjoy this little gem, which we designed and produced at the Chebeague Island Inn alongside the incredibly talented cast of Erik Anderson and Love Story Media, Peterson Party Rentals, Be Our Guest Party Rentals, Klass Entertainment, Cakes to Remember, Port Lighting, and Studio One.
One of our favorite collaborations was joining the Florabella design forces with Melissa McNaboe and her incredible crew from the Village Florist in Yarmouth, Maine. Seriously, these ladies are amazing. If I could have them on my team for every wedding, I would. They are talented, joyful and beyond incredible! For someone who has flowers sprouting from her soul, it made me feel just right when I drove out to Yarmouth to visit Melissa’s darling studio during one of our site visits I knew it was going to be harmonious and that she would take care of everything just as meticulously as we do. And you know what? I was right…and then some! And I can say that about any of our partners in Maine and Boston – truly incredible and we look forward to our next collaboration!
We hope you love the details of this one as much as we do!
